Music Theater Works’ Youth Workshops are truly comprehensive. Our workshops’ curriculum focuses on learning to be a triple threat – singing, dancing and acting. We want to better educate children in the arts and the joy of theater.

Our workshops are a unique opportunity for children 8–13 to develop confidence in a nurturing and fun atmosphere. Secure your preferred workshop(s) now!

2020 Workshop Schedule

The Wizard of Oz • July 6 – 11
This classic tale, in which a Kansas farm girl travels over the rainbow to discover the magical power of home, has been entertaining audiences for generations.

Seussical Jr. • July 13 – 18
Although Horton the Elephant faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him.  Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!

Legally Blonde the Musical Jr. • July 20 – 25
Follow the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.  A fabulously fun journey of self-empowerment and expanding horizons!

Guys and Dolls Jr. • July 27 – August 1
Follow the lives of Sky Masterson, Sarah Brown, Nathan Detroit and Adelaide as they maneuver life and love from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana.  And rejoice as everyone eventually ends up right where they belong.

Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella • August 3 – 8
The timeless, “rags to riches” fairy tale.  Poor Cinderella is endlessly mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters, and denied a chance to go to the royal ball. With a little help from her mice friends – and a lot of help from her Fairy Godmother – Cinderella’s dreams come true. She goes to the ball, meets the Prince and falls in love!
