For more than 100 years, the beloved story of a spunky, red-headed orphan who lands a holiday stay with Oliver “Daddy” Warbucks, a billionaire trying to do good has delighted and inspired audiences around the world. Our performance home at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie recently shared updated new safety procedures for future productions.
The new procedures include:
Attendees will be directed to enter using the door closest to their performance space. Each guest must have a ticket, pass or credential to gain entrance to the venue. On busy performance nights when both theatre spaces are in use, audiences may be asked to use both front and side entrances to keep the lines moving. Please follow instructions provided as you arrive at the Center.
In addition, for the safety and security of our guests, employees, and performers, all guests are subject to a reasonable search and inspection of any parcels, bags or purses and hand-held metal detectors may be used. Purses or bags larger than 12” x 6” x 12” are not permitted in the venue. Diaper bags and medical bags are permitted but will be subject to search. Clear bags are encouraged to keep the security process moving along quickly. Guests may return any prohibited items to their vehicle or dispose of the items prior to entering. No re-entry is permitted.

Once your order has been processed, no refunds will be accepted.Please make sure you’ve selected the proper event time and date.Free unlimited exchanges for all subscribers. A single ticket purchase may exchange their ticket for another performance of the same production for a fee of $8.If Music Theater Works cancels or postpones a show, customers may exchange to another performance of the same production (subject to availability) or receive a credit on their account, which they can use for any other production or subscription.

Join us before the show and at intermission for a drink and snack in Binny’s Broadway Lounge! Located on the second floor at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie, the Binny’s Broadway Lounge doesn’t need a reservation, just check-in when you arrive for the performance.

Join Music Theater Works as it welcomes experts from one of the world’s largest newspaper archives at the Chicago Tribune: “Vintage Chicago Tribune” Reporter Kori Rumore, Visual Editor Marianne Mather and Editorial Page Editor and Chief Theater Critic Chris Jones as they delve deep into the adventurous, lovable and surprisingly political beginnings of the little red-headed orphan in this presentation. From a name that first appeared in a poem, to becoming an iconic, internationally known comic strip and one of the most beloved musicals in the American canon.

We are accepting all warm clothing (new or gently used; winter items are especially needed) and cash donations in the theater lobby. Simply drop off your items when you arrive for a performance. Donations will be delivered directly to the Niles Township Government Respite Center.
