Winter Workshop culminates in a public performance for family and friends on Saturday, January 6 at 4:00 pm.

“Thank you to you and your crew. It was amazing what you accomplished in six days. Our daughter couldn’t be happier!”—Randy

What it is
A workshop where students learn singing, dancing and acting in preparation for a public performance of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. on Saturday, January 6, 2018.

About the show
Revisit the classic story of Belle, a girl longing to explore beyond her small town, and the Beast, a trapped young prince. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end: he and his eccentric household will be transformed back to their former selves. Through timeless songs, exciting dances and fantastic characters, we’ll learn if Belle is the girl to break the spell!

Who can attend
Young people age 8 to 13, who want to learn musical theater from professional actors and counselors. Every child is guaranteed a part in the show. Students must be 8 years old by January 2, 2018, and should be able to read at the 3rd grade reading level.

Tuesday through Friday, January 2-5, 2018, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. The final dress rehearsal is Saturday, January 6, at 1:00 pm, with the public performance at 4:00 pm.

Classes are at the Music Theater Works rehearsal center at 516 4th Street in Wilmette (same location as past Workshops).

The free public performance on Saturday, January 6, is at the Winnetka Community House, 620 Lincoln Avenue in Winnetka.
